Exhibit Creation Process:

The Interactive Media Zone (IMZ) is located on the ground floor of the GT Price Gilbert Library. It features a 40-foot curved landscape screen and ten interactive tablet stations allowing users to view and experience digital exhibits. We were tasked with creating a digital exhibit that was relevant but engaging to the GT community.
Phase 1: Concept Creation
We knew we wanted to create an interactive exhibit that connected the GT community. We ideated ways to create an anonymous forum similar to Reddit or Quora except interactive and just for GT community members.
Students could anonymously submit thoughts (ex: "Feeling impostor syndrome") and others could anonymously respond (ex: "I felt the same, doing XYZ to helped me feel better!"). The submissions would be entered via phone app but could only be viewed in-person at the IMZ, making the forum a physical experience.

Phase 2: Wireframing Screens

Phase 3: UI Iteration
After creating mood boards for a variety of visual directions, we iterated through 3 visual directions before landing on our final design: 1) warm minimalism, 2) retro desktop, 3) minimalist + retro blend.
